Some people fly to Paris for a destination wedding, Bali, or even the Maldives. But if you’re stateside (especially in the Los Angeles area)  and dreaming of an over-the-top wedding for your big day, there’s no reason a venue on this list can’t check off all your boxes. From stunning estates to beachfront locales, there’s something for each couple that wants luxury infused into every detail of their wedding day. Keep reading to learn the most extravagant wedding venues in LA and discover which will make your dreams come true.

Aurora Banquet Hall

If you want a location that oozes not just luxury but serious sophistication, look no further than the Aurora Banquet Hall. This wedding venue has a stylish and modern interior design that works seamlessly with whatever flowers for your wedding you pick and all the other decor on your dream wedding list.

The space can hold up to 288 guests, and the stunning Grand Foyer is the perfect place for nuptial cocktails or during the reception. The event space is also equipped with custom LED lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system, which means you and your nearest and dearest can party in style all night long.

If you are looking to keep things stress-free, Aurora has many items available to rent, including altars, chairs and tables, decor, centerpieces, a photo booth, and more. They even have a top-notch culinary staff if you want to outsource the menu. This is one event venue you have to tour if luxury is your wedding theme.

Vibiana

The name Vibiana alone evokes serious opulence, but once you see the space, get ready to pick your jaw up off the floor. Sure, you may have done a quick Google search of “reception venues near me,” and if this one didn’t pop up – file a complaint with Google.

Built in 1876, Vibiana is a historic and award-winning former cathedral that is now an iconic event space not just in LA but worldwide. The space has its flagship restaurant, Redbird, and it also boasts five private dining spaces in the rectory building that’s adjacent to Vibiana’s grand Main Hall and Courtyard – meaning it can accommodate over 300 guests!

When it comes to aesthetics, Vibiana can’t be outdone, period. It’s an absolute gem right in the Historic Core of Downtown LA. The architecture of the Main Hall and the verdant greenery in the courtyard can’t be matched. The original historic details have been beautifully preserved, but modern touches like lighting and sound systems have been added to make your modern wedding all you want it to be.

The Maybourne Beverly Hills

The Maybourne Beverly Hills will make your wedding a masterpiece with its Mediterranean-inspired architecture and gorgeous gardens. The grounds are a backdrop for some seriously gorgeous wedding photography, and the vibe makes it perfect whether you’re dreaming of a small or massive luxury wedding (up to 300 people).

What the Maybourne is especially known for are the in-house culinary artists. They can help curate not only a creative but sumptuous menu along with wine pairings and, of course, custom wedding cakes.

If you’re looking to infuse a little bit of city into your luxury LA wedding, this is a must-visit when touring wedding venues.

Palazzo Beverly Hills

For many people, Los Angeles is synonymous with modern mansions on Billionaires Row, and the Palazzo fits the bill 100 percent. This multi-acre property features a quarter-mile private and gated driveway that will give you and your guests a true celebrity feel as you and your guests arrive.

It also boasts a stage for live performances if you’ve opted for a band for your big day, Creston audio, visual and surround systems, and more.

When it comes to true LA luxury appearances, the imported marble from Greece throughout the property really shines, as does the mezzanine level that overlooks a three-story living room. Want a glass-domed opening roof? Palazzo has one. Want a twenty-person outdoor party jacuzzi? They have that, too—as well as a spa, pool, and sprawling grounds to explore.

Any of the above venues would make a couple’s luxury LA wedding dreams come true, so it’s worth touring them all – just know they won’t come cheaply – but you can’t put a price on the most important day of your life, right? Cheers!
