Palisades News Letters: Palisades Symphony Will Perform December 14

The “Magnificat,” (also known as the Song of Mary) by John Rutter and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, will be performed by Palisades Symphony, the Brentwood-Palisades Chorale and soloists on Sunday, December 14, 7:30 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church, 801 Via de la Paz. There is free admission.

One of the eight most ancient Christian hymns, the “Magnificat,” with soloist Deborah Mayhan, will be conducted by the choir’s director, Susan S. Rosenstein. The Haydn Mass will be conducted by the orchestra’s musical director, Joel Lish. The soloists for the Mass will be soprano Deborah Mayhan, mezzo Jessica Boardman, tenor Gabriel R. Pazos and baritone Eric Castro.
