The following Dec. 19, 2016 crime report was supplied by LAPD Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore of the West L.A. Division. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
GRAND THEFT AUTO
- 17700 Revello Dr, 12/12/16 btwn 1 PM and 1:30 PM. The suspect took vehicle, parked in a driveway, using a key left inside the vehicle.
- 200 Toyopa, 12/12/16 btwn 8 PM and 9:45 PM. The suspect took vehicle possibly using a key left inside the vehicle.
- 14900 Alva, 12/12/16 btwn 9:15 PM and 9:40 PM. The suspect took vehicle, parked in a driveway, using a key left inside the vehicle.
- 15200 McKendree, 12/16/16 at 12 PM. The suspect (arrested) took victim’s vehicle from a garage. The suspect abandoned the vehicle and the vehicle was recovered at Asilomar/El Medio.
- 15800 Asilomar, 12/16/16 at 9 PM. The suspect (arrested) took victim’s vehicle using keys taken during a burglary (see burglary below).
BURGLARY/THEFT from MOTOR VEHICLE
800 Toyopa, btwn 12/8/16 at 10 PM and 12/9/16 at 7 AM. The suspect entered and ransacked victim’s vehicle.
17800 Tramonto, 12/7/16 btwn 4 PM and 6:30 PM. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took a wallet.
BURGLARY
- 600 Haldeman, btwn 12/12/16 at 11 PM and 12/13/16 at 7 AM. The suspect attempted to pry open a skylite to enter victim’s home but was unable to gain enter.
- 800 Iliff, 12/14 16 btwn 8 AM and 6:52 PM. The suspect pried open a door to enter victim’s home but fled when the alarm was activated.
- 1100 Galloway, 12/15/16 btwn 10:15 AM and 6:30 PM. The suspect pried open a window to enter victim’s home and took jewelry.
- 1000 Galloway, 12/15/16 btwn 10 AM and 6:30 PM. The suspect pried open a glass door to enter victim’s home and took jewelry.
- 800 Chautauqua, on 12/15/16 btwn 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM. The suspect pried open a sliding glass door to enter victim’s home and took jewelry.
- 15200 McKendree, 12/16/16 at 12 PM. The suspect (arrested) picked a lock to enter victim’s home and took money, jewelry, and victim’s vehicle.
- 600 Muskingum Ave, btwn 12/12/16 at 6 AM and 12/13/16 at 10 PM. The suspects (#1-2 male NFD) entered victim’s home through an unlocked window and took a safe and jewelry.
- 15200 Via De Las Olas, 12/18/16 at 7:15 PM. The suspect smashed a door window to enter victim’s home and took watches.
- 15800 Asilomar, 12/16/16 at 9 PM. The suspect (a 19-year-old male) entered victim’s home through an unlocked door. The suspect was confronted by a witness and fled the location taking victim’s vehicle. The suspect was arrested on 12/17/16 at 6:05 PM driving victim’s vehicle.
THEFT
100 Ocean Ave, 12/12/16 btwn 10:30 AM and 12:10 PM. The suspect (possibly landlord and worker) entered victim’s apartment and took money.
VANDALISM
Pacific Coast Hwy/Porto Marina, 12/13/16 at 5:30 PM. The suspect threw a hard object at victim’s vehicle window smashing it. RD 861
