No animals are allowed anywhere on the Palisades High School campus. And in general, no animals are allowed on LAUSD campuses because of liability issues.
This prohibition includes the wolf-dogs that were brought to the weekly farmers market on Sunday, Sept. 25. The owners had them on the grass between the college center and the parking lot so that marketgoers could see them.
PaliHi’s Director of Operations David Riccardi said that if the rules are not followed, the market may have to move. He has spoken with market owner Melissa Farwell, who is equally frustrated that a few people are not following the rules and may threaten the market’s permit.
