The Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore will host its sixth annual Will Rogers art show and sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Will Rogers State Historic Park. A portion of art sales will be donated to conservation and environmental organizations.
The Allied Artists is an active group of local fine artists that promotes appreciation of our environment and supports conservation and maintenance of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The group has been actively providing information, art and an appreciation of the local mountains and seashore as a public service for more than 20 years.
Allied Artists also sponsors free monthly paint-outs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the sec- ond Saturday of the month; all artists, at all skill levels, are invited. A painting demonstration and friendly critique are usually held at the paint-outs. Visit allied-artist.com for more information.
