‘Autism Feels’ Workshop April 29

An autism awareness workshop, Autism Feels, will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at the Palisades Branch Library, 861 Alma Real Dr.

The workshop will help others to understand what it feels like to have autism. Young adults and teens with autism and Linda Andron-Ostrow, the executive director of F.A.C.T. (Family, Adult & Child Therapies), will guide participants through interactive presentations and discussions.

The goal is to give audience members insights about autism, and also receive tips on how to help individuals with autism feel more like part of the community.
