The Friends of the Palisades Branch Library will hold a quality used-book sale, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 6 in the parking lot of the library, 861 Alma Real. Rain will postpone the event to the following Saturday.
“We will feature many wonderful children’s books in almost-new condition, a huge variety of cookbooks and an eclectic collection of non-fiction and current fiction, both paperback and hardback,” said the book sale’s organizer, Wendy Edlen. “Thanks to our generous donors, we will feature a remarkable assortment of special books including beautiful art books. We thank all donors for providing excellent books, DVDs and CDs.”
