Like many Pali teams, girls volleyball seeks tougher competition outside of league play and competed in the California Challenge Tournament Oct. 7-8 in San Diego.

During pool play, the Dolphins faced some of the toughest teams in the tournament: Eastlake (Silver Bracket champs), Cathedral Catholic (Bronze Bracket champs) and Marymount (third in the Championship bracket).

After losing in its pool, PaliHi went on to win the Competitive Bracket by defeating Le Jardin, Trabuco and Capo Valley.
