Palisades Crime: Stolen TV, Motorcycle Helmet and Rent Paying Scheme

The following June 14, 2016 crime report was supplied by LAPD Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore of the West L.A. Division. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

BURGLARY/THEFT from MOTOR VEHICLE 

• Temescal Canyon/Sunset, 6/12/16 btwn 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a wallet and cell phone.
• 16800 Pacific Coast Hwy, 6/10/16 btwn 9:40 AM and 9 PM. The suspect removed the tailgate from victim’s truck.

BURGLARY 

• 1200 Monument, 6/13/16 btwn 5:30 PM and 10 PM. The suspect entered victim’s home and took a television, computers, and camera.
• 1200 Monaco Dr, 6/13/16 btwn 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM. The suspect removed a screen to enter victim’s home and took jewelry.

THEFT

• 1300 Allenford, 6/9/16 at 11:30 AM. The suspect (male Hispanic, 5’5″ 145 lb, 35 years) walked onto victim’s property and took a package.
• 16500 Sunset, btwn 6/10/16 at 6 PM and 6/11/16 at 11:15 AM. The suspect took victim’s suitcase from an open garage parking lot.
• 300 Entrada, 4/2/16 at 7 AM. The suspect tricked victim into paying rent for a property not owned by the suspect.
• 15200 Sunset, 6/12/16 btwn 2 PM and 2:05 PM. The suspect took victim’s motorcycle helmet while victim was using an ATM.

VANDALISM 

500 Bienveneda, btwn 6/3/16 at 10:30 PM and 6/4/16 at 7:30 AM. The suspect scratched the paint on victim’s vehicle.
