Resident Mary Kinzelberg’s Paintings Grace Palisades Branch Library

Pacific Palisades resident Mary Kinzelberg’s art is on display in the Palisades Branch Library community room through Nov. 3.

“Mary has been creating art since she can remember,” said representative Chelsea Ford. “Over the years she has designed beautiful landscapes, interiors, jewelry, gift and flower baskets, as well as unique hats for Saks Fifth Avenue. She has also donated a large number of these hats to the women at St. John’s Hospital fighting cancer.”

Although Kinzelberg is multi-talented and creative in many areas, painting is her true passion. She uses mixed media-oil and acrylic—as well as creating unique assemblages—to express emotion, color and mood.

Pacific Palisades, with its close proxim- ity to the sea and mountains, inspire Kinzelberg, as have her extensive travels throughout the world. She has been influenced by the various landscapes and cultures through her journeys.

She creates in an outdoor studio and her customers include top designers and stagers in the local area, as well as private buyers. Kinzelberg enjoys doing custom paintings for clients to meet the needs of a particular space.

If you cannot make it to the library, you may view her complete collection of paintings and assemblages at marykinzelberg.com or by emailing the artist: marykinzelberg@yahoo.com.
