Chamber Music Palisades has announced its 29th season, set to begin on October 8 at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church, featuring a diverse lineup of performances by renowned ensembles and soloists.
The season, running through April 15, 2026, will showcase works by composers such as Bach, Brahms, and Gershwin, alongside a world premiere by local film composer Lolita Ritmanis.
The series kicks off with the New Hollywood String Quartet on October 8, followed by the Flute and Strings trio on December 3, featuring flute, viola, and violin. February 4 brings Duos and Trios, highlighting varied chamber music configurations, while the season concludes with Piano Night on April 15, presenting a program including Bach’s Fugue in G Minor and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. All concerts start at 7:30 p.m., with free parking available off Bundy Drive.
Longtime commentator Alan Chapman will return for his 29th year, providing insights into the performances. Season subscriptions are priced at $120, offering a $20 savings over individual tickets, which cost $35 and are available online at cmpalisades.org or at the door. Full-time students with valid ID receive free admission.
Founded by pianist Delores Stevens and flutist Susan Greenberg, the group has built a reputation for innovative programming and high-caliber musicianship, drawing praise from local outlets.
