The Investigation Has Concluded, LAFD Said
Firefighters were dispatched to the Pacific Palisades on Monday morning to extinguish a fire before it could cause interior damage to a home, LAFD said.
On June 3 at around 4:55 a.m., crews arrived at the 16700 block of W Charmel Lane for reports of a structure fire. Once on scene, firefighters discovered a blaze on a deck about six feet away from the one-story residential property. 32 firefighters were dispatched and the fire took approximately 16 minutes to extinguish, LAFD said.
No damage was done to the inside of the home and there were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is undetermined and the investigation has concluded, LAFD said.
