The ACS Will Select the Honorees and Announce Them at Its First November Meeting
The Palisades Community Council is inviting the community to participate in the nomination process for three distinguished awards: Citizen of the Year, Golden Sparkplus, and Pride of the Palisades.
During the recent PPCC Meeting held on Oct. 12, the council introduced the Awards Selection Committee, composed of the following members: Daphne Gronich (Committee Chair and former Citizen of the Year), Sue Kohl (PPCC Vice President), Beth Holden Garland (PPCC Secretary), Ryan Craig (PPCC Primary representative in the Environment category), and Diana Danielle (PPCC 2nd Alternate for Area 2).
The deadline for submitting nominations is Oct. 31, and submissions will be accepted until 11:59 pm on this date. The President has extended this deadline to align with the 2023 calendar date of its first October meeting.
The ACS will convene after Oct. 31 and before Nov. 9, which is the date of the regular PPCC November meeting. During this session, the ACS will select the honorees and announce them at its first November meeting, scheduled for Nov. 9. This meeting will be held in person at the Palisades Library Community Room.
