Laurene Powell Jobs Adds Another Malibu Pad to her Paradise Cove Portfolio

This Acquisition Marks Powell Jobs’ Fourth Property in the Upscale Enclave, Adding to Three Adjacent Parcels She Has Acquired Over the Past Decade

Laurene Powell Jobs has expanded her Malibu real estate portfolio with a $94 million purchase in Paradise Cove, according to the Los Angeles Times. The transaction reportedly closed on June 4.

Powell Jobs, 60, widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, has a net worth estimated at $13.8 billion, as reported by Realtor.com. She manages the Steve Jobs Trust and is the founder and chair of the Emerson Collective. She owns multiple homes in Los Altos, a pied-à-terre in San Francisco, and several properties in Florida.

This acquisition marks Powell Jobs’ fourth property in the upscale enclave, adding to three adjacent parcels she has acquired over the past decade, amounting to nearly $80 million for the land alone, according to Realtor.com.

In 2015, she bought a 3-acre property for $44 million, according to the Robb Report. Two years later, she purchased a 1.2-acre home with five bedrooms and 4,058 square feet of living space for $16.5 million. In 2021, she acquired a 2,677-square-foot oceanfront home for $17.5 million, a property featured in TV shows like “Charlie’s Angels” and “The Twilight Zone”, according to the Real Deal.

The latest off-market purchase, previously sold in 1978 for $487,000, comprises a 6,300-square-foot residence with eight bedrooms and six bathrooms on 4 acres extending to the beach. Property records indicate the home, built in 1956, is currently under construction.
