A hands-on incense-making workshop led by Kayla Torrey will take place on Saturday, June 8, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Viola Gardens, located at 3728 Cross Creek Rd.
Participants will begin with a guided plant walk through the nursery at the Art and Ecology Studio, where Torrey will introduce native plants and herbs. Following the walk, attendees will learn to sculpt their own incense cones using these plants and natural materials.
“Come ready to use your hands and get creative,” organizers said. All necessary supplies will be provided.
Tickets for the workshop are priced at $35 and can be purchased through the Art and Ecology Studio’s website.
